All the Wonders of the World: UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites – Students will read an article introducing the concept of World Heritage Sites. A follow-up activity helps children to demonstrate authentic literacy along with critical thinking. This concept is discussed in detail in the Dear Colleague letter. Primary and intermediate levels of this activity are available and correlate with the National Social Studies Standards: Culture and People, Places and Environment.
