Children will read a fictional account of a trip up Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. The facts that are embedded in the story serve as an example of how to understand and study for content area tests. The follow-up activity includes a step-by-step process for remembering facts and using them to write narratives. The WAP is available on the emergent, primary, and intermediate levels.
