Another football season is in the record books as the NY Giants narrowly edge out the Patriots in a nail biter match-up this past Super Bowl Sunday. Because my beloved Packers were not competing, the evening wasn’t as intense although I was passionately annoyed with Coca Cola for once again placing the Polar Bear and the Penguin in the same habitat! My husband attempted to calm me down with the same old Razorbill penguin-LIKE bird excuse, but I’m not buying it. Come on Coke, do I need to write another letter to explain to you the difference between the North and South Pole habitats? How much creative license should they be able to get away with? Do you have any other examples of advertising bloopers that blatantly misrepresent our wildlife? If so, we would love to hear from you!
This week our WAP celebrates Valentine’s Day with some less romantic activities that take on a more literal translation of the heart. Take this opportunity to discuss with your children the importance of exercise and good nutrition in fueling the most important muscle in our body, the heart!
